Meredith Akers, along with a former student, is featured in an acclaimed educational documentary called The Asperger's Difference, produced by the Center for Spectrum Services. It has been endorsed by Temple Grandin, Tony Attwood, and Jed Baker. This video would have been very helpful to me in high school…I also really like the way the video presented the positive side of being an “Aspie.” This is a fantastic video, and it should be used in schools across the nation.” The Center for Spectrum Services provides comprehensive diagnostic, educational, and clinical services as well as workshops in best practices for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and the community that supports them.
