Specialized Education Programs

Ed Supports has worked with Special Education departments to develop cutting-edge programs to meet the diverse needs of their student population. We believe in creating programs and delivering services to students with IEPs in the least restrictive environment.

  • Programs for students with Asperger's Syndrome such as AsIP (Asperger Inclusion Program) in Oakland Unified School District and the Bridge Program in Alameda Unified School District. These programs serve students in Kindergarten through 12th grades.
  • Academic and Social Competency Classrooms (ASC) meet the needs of students who require both a Special Day Class setting as well as supported inclusion or part of their daily schedule.  These students have academic needs as well as social skill and organizational skill deficits.  Currently there are 2 middle-school and 1 high-school classrooms serving about 30 students.
